Dallas Drinks: The John Ross

Dallas Drinks is a co-creation with Dallas Decoder, honoring the characters of the new TNT drama Dallas, which continues the Ewing family saga. See all of the Dallas Drinks here.

Today, I'm starting a new feature: Dallas Drinks, a co-creation with Dallas Decoder, honoring the characters of the new TNT drama Dallas, which continues the Ewing family saga that ran on CBS from 1978 to 1991.

We've created a signature cocktail for each of the eight main characters of the show, which we will reveal weekly as new episodes air. It's perfect for your Dallas drinking game. First up is John Ross, the bad-boy son of J.R., Dallas' most notorious character.

I'm probably biased because it was created by my husband Chris, but Dallas Decoder is the only site for commentary and nostalgia for the original series, with daily episode critiques, essays and style commentary. With the debut of the new series, Dallas Decoder is also following the TNT series. Check out the review.

  1. Thanks darlin'. This is why I married you. If I asked anyone else to create eight (!) cocktails based on "Dallas" characters, they'd tell me to go jump in the Southfork lake. I'm glad you're willing to go along with my schemes.
